iOS crash when editing notes field

All of a sudden I can't edit the notes field of any of my secure notes. The app on both the iPhone and iPad either crashes or forces a scroll to the end of the note and then crashes.

Did you make a recent change that is causing this problem?

On behalf of Megan, you're very welcome! While waiting for a fix, you might want to try restarting your iOS devices to see if it helps at all. You may run into the same problem again, but it's worth a shot, just in case.

Thanks, tried a restart, but does not help. App hangs for a few seconds when I touch the edit button, then as soon as I touch the secure notes text field, it crashes. My workaround is to edit the field on the Mac and rely on sync, which is working fine.

I'm sorry that didn't help - I had a feeling it might not work, but thought it was worth trying. Hopefully we'll have this fixed soon for you, and I'm glad you found a workaround in the meantime. I apologize for the inconvenience!

I am having the same issue. Hope a fix comes soon. Why not add this sort of known issue to your occasional newsletter? It's a royal pain to be attempting to resolve the issue myself, thinking I've done something wrong only to learn that it is a known issue and being worked on. I expected better.
