    Hi there at agile bits,
    I´ve an terrible problem with my 1password-license.
    I bought my app-cd at a local shop and got the according license by a national distributer agile bits used because they didn't had own distribution-team - or what else.
    There at this national distributer all my user-data was registered for my 1password-license.
    The problem is: meanwhile this national distributer (ASH - Application Systems Heidelberg, Germany) isn't working for agile bits any longer.
    AND they didn't sync the user-datas of their costumers with agile-bits.
    Unfortunately I didn't updated over a long time - therefor the automatically update-function doesn't work.
    Cause of that I downloaded the complete current version from your website - in hope that its possible to use my very first license-code.
    But that doesn't work because the application searches for a license-file - or something like that.
    So? What can I do ?
    Shall I send you my very first license-code or purchase-copy or something else?
    How can I use the current version? (without BUYING a complete new version)
    Can you help me ?!? P-L-E-A-S-E

    Hi @tmh,

    I moved your message to a separate thread, since it's unrelated to the questions from the original discussion.

    It sounds like you have a license code for 1Password 3 for Mac. That won't work with 1Password 4 or 5, but you can certainly still download the latest update for version 3 that supports your Mac OS version from this site. (If you're using Mac OS 10.6 or higher, you can use version 3.8.22.)

    If you'd like to upgrade to a newer version of 1Password for Mac, but we don't have a record of your license code for version 3, please contact us at support+licenses@agilebits.com and include a copy of your receipt (if possible), and we should be able to help. You can also include a link to this thread in your email so our support team can get caught up on the details you've already provided. Thanks!

    Yes, you're right. It´s an Password 3-Version. A more current version is required because of the interaction with die Safari-Browser-Add-on.
    A copy of my receipt is no problem.
