Hi,
I have a Mac running 10.7.5 and my wife has a Mac running 10.9.5. Which version of 1password will work for both?
I thought I read that if you get 1password5 you get v3 as well for older Macs.
I tried to install 1password5 on my 10.7.5 OS but it won't install. Do I have to install on 10.9.5 to get v3 to run on 10.7.5?

    Hi @D_76,

On your Mac with OS 10.7.5, you'll need to use 1Password 3 (version 4 requires OS 10.8 or 10.9, and version 5 requires OS 10.10). If you purchase a license for 1Password for Mac from our web store, you'll receive a license file that works with both version 4 and 5, and you'll also receive a license code that works with version 3.

If you have any Macs running OS 10.10 (Yosemite), you can download 1Password 5 for Mac from our download site. For Macs running OS 10.8 or 10.9, you can download 1Password 4 for Mac from the "Legacy" section at the bottom of that same page.

For your Mac with OS 10.7.5, you can download 1Password 3 from this site.

I hope that helps! Let us know if you have more questions about that.

Thanks, that helps. If I go to your web store all I see is a button for 1Password5. What do I select to get a 1Password3?

Will I be paying for only a single version or for 2 versions?

    Hi @D_76,

You only need to purchase 1Password once to get the license file for 1Password 4/5 and the legacy license key for 1Password 3. The receipt email you receive after purchasing should have all of the detail that you need, but if you have any questions or run into any snags while installing, please let us know - we're here to help!
