Facebook OTP vanishes

Every time I add one time passwords to the Facebook login saved in 1Password, the OTP data vanishes after the next sync. Dropbox on my Mac does download new 1P keychain data after adding the OTP key on iOS, but in the iOS app it's as if I had never added the OTP; just the other Facebook login data remains. OTPs for other services behave as expected.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write in, @luk. I'd like you try a few things to help us track this one down.

1. Put your Facebook item into edit mode.
2. Scroll down to the Add new section button and tap it.
3. Tap the Add new field button and choose Password from the menu that appears.
4. Enter or generate a password.
5. Save the item.
6. Wait for the same syncing circumstances that are leading to your OTP field being wiped out.
7. Check to see if the new section with the password is still there.

Does the OTP data appear (and stay) properly in 1Password for Mac? I know 1Password for Mac cannot generate the one-time password at this time, but the secret should still show up there.

Let us know about these couple of things and hopefully we can start figuring this problem out.

Could you also generate a diagnostic report for us from your Mac and your iOS device? Before doing so on iOS please unlock 1Password and tap on Settings > Advanced > Diagnostics > Log Settings and then enable logs for Database, Dropbox, Replicator, and Sync.

After you've enabled that logging please trigger the bug where your OTP data vanishes and then send in the Diagnostic Report by tapping on Settings > Advanced > Diagnostics > Send Diagnostics. Include a link to this forum post in your email.

I can confirm that creating a new section with password does work. After a few syncs back and forth, it was still there.
When adding the OTP, it seems like Dropbox doesn't even get new data. After iOS completed syncing, Dropbox on my Mac didn't download any file updates. At that point, when navigating back into the Facebook item on iOS, the OTP was already gone.
I sent diagnostics from iOS and Mac, although I'm pretty sure now, that the Mac didn't play any part in this.
