Hello Support-Team,
i'm also experiencing this problem!
Running 1password 4.4.3 on two MBPro (10.9 and 10.10) and 1password 5 on iPhone6 8.1.3.
A new password updated on MB1 was synced to iPhone correctly.
Syncing the Iphone with MB2 has overwritten the iPhone with the old entry on MB2.I cannot trust 1password anymore to keep my passwords synced correctly!?

Forgot to mention: i used manual WiFi-sync for syncing. I tried multiple times and i can replicate this.
Looks like for existing entries the iPhone-data is always overwritten0 -
Hi @1Chris
The trouble we've had is being able to reproduce this in the lab. If we can't reproduce it makes so hard to even start tracking down the issue. I have a couple of questions that might help us.
- Is it happening with a particular item or does it occur with any change?
- Is the issue bidirectional? does it happen if you're updating the iPhone with a change on MB2 and then wanting to transfer that change to MB1
We may ask you for some diagnostic reports as well to see if we can identify what is happening.

thanks for coming back to me! :-)
The problem happens with multiple items:
I usually work on MB1 and update a login or let's say a secure note.
In order to get MB2 updated i want to use the iPhone:
So i sync MB1 to the iPhone (manually via the menu on both sides). This works!
Then i close 1Password on MB1 before i open 1password on MB2 .
When syncing MB2 to the iPhone, the obviously newer entries on the iPhone get overwritten with the ones from MB2 again.I tried this multiple times.
How can a newer entry be overwritten with an older one?Regards,

Hi @Megan ,
oh no, that's not a silly question! That's the thing i always look first, but the MBs are synced with NTP and all devices are running in the same timezone (CET, GMT+1), so time on the devices should really be in sync. Also the times between the my manual WiFI-syncs varied in a way like i added some more lines in a "secure note" on MB1 and synced it to the iPhone some days later. Another couple of days later i sync the iPhone to MB2, then wondering why the new lines did not appear on MB2. Checking MB1 showed the new entry was still there, whereas the iPhone-entry was reset to the old entry of MB2.
I noticed on OSX the entries show timestamps like "created on" and "last changed on". I don't see that on IOS.

Hi @1Chris,
I hope you don't mind, I've split the conversation here into its own thread, so we can focus on your issue directly without pinging others at the same time.
Checking MB1 showed the new entry was still there, whereas the iPhone-entry was reset to the old entry of MB2.
Can you reproduce this issue with a new item and immediately after that, generate the diagnostic reports from MB2 and iPhone. Please email both reports to support+forum@agilebits.com with a link to this thread.
Let us know here when you sent it, so we can look for it. Thanks!

Hi @MikeT ,
i just made another test:
what i did:
1) I created a new secure-note "TestNote4Diag" on MB2
2) WiFi sync to iphone -> OK
3) WiFi sync iphone to MB1 -> OK
4) added some notes to the secure-note to make it a newer entry
5) WiFi sync MB1 to iphone -> OK
6) WiFi sync iPhone to MB2 -> newer entry gets overwritten with data from MB2btw: in my mail i forgot to mention steps4+5
Both reports from iphone and MB2 sent to support+forum@agilebits.com
Hope that helps! Thanks!
