Dropbox Authorization Failed

This is driving me insane, making it nearly impossible to write this. I keep getting a pop up, Dropbox Authorization Failed. The first 20 times it came up, I chose Authorize. Despite Authorizing 20 times, it keeps coming up. Dismiss fails equally. It is a huge deal to me because new and important data is not crossing over from one device to another. Please Help. Begging. As I wrote this, the error message came up 20 times )-:

  • Good morning, @smudgeyjoe. I'm sorry for the trouble you're running into here. I would like you to try something (and it might be a little difficult to do with the popup in the way), but here goes:

    1. On your iOS device enable Airplane Mode (this may quiet the warnings)
    2. Switch back to 1Password.
    3. Unlock 1Password and tap on Settings > Sync > Sync Service
    4. Tap on Disable Sync at the bottom of the screen that appears and confirm that you want to indeed Disable Sync
    5. At this point the messages should stop appearing.
    6. Set up sync with Dropbox again. You should be prompted to login to your Dropbox account, but the messages should not return.

    Let me know how this works out for you and if there's anything else I can do to help you out.

    It seems I have the same problem. I tried the steps above, but after disabling sync (step 4) i'm still getting those messages.

    Hi @Roelof,

    You're still seeing messages after Dropbox sync has been disabled in 1Password? That's odd. Are you using Dropbox sync on any other apps?
