Adding login for website where the only URL begins HTTPS

Some background: I'm using the latest 1PW for iOS on an iPad, and am trying to create a login record/entry for a website whose only valid address begin https:// If I add the URL with the https 1PW strips it off the web address and then attempt to contact the site using http ... :( which does not then work. I have to use Safari to acccess the site and swap back and forth between it and 1PW copying the login detals as I go.

My question: How do I create a login record that mantains the correct web address ?

@swimboy1 I have deleted your three additional identical posts (just in case you wonder where they went).

    Hi @swimboy1,

It may sound like a daft question but why are you certain it is stripping off the https:// ?

Certainly when you view it or edit it doesn't show, I believe this is known but if I copy the URL and paste into say a note it shows as https://

Can you confirm please that if you copy the website field and paste elsewhere that 1Password 5.2 for iOS is indeed doing this. Cheers!

Stephen: er thanks, no idea where they came from I definately only pressed post once - very weird.

Bobby: I'll check but the website doesn't repsond to http only https requests - if I click on the url in the 1pw login record the browser appears and there's no repsonse (as for http) but if I edit the url in the browser including the https then all is well.

    Hi @swimboy1,

The extra posts could have been a hiccup with our site, who knows (but Stephen has kindly taken care of it anyway).

Given we don't need to successfully login into the site in question to replicate your issue, would you be open to supplying the site URL? If we can reproduce the issue maybe the devs can figure out what is going on.

I realise you say you're using the latest iOS version but can we just confirm that on the Settings page in 1Password it does say Version 5.2, you can find that just below the entry titled Recommend 1Password and above Advanced. Just to make sure we're attempting to reproduce this in the same version.
