is there a plan in the near future to add attachments to the IOS version? I've been using 1password for years and this feature is still missing which is crazy after all this time. I think if there aren't any plans it's time to start looking around. The workflow of doing it through a computer is not a good solution in 2015.

The developers have said they do plan to bring this feature to iOS, but as usual, they have not released a time frame.

    Hi @Captn,

I've added your comment to the feature request. As hawkmoth has already said we're unable to make any promises or commit to any timeframe. I realise that probably seems unsatisfying but we feel it's better than the backlash of failure to match future expectations.

I know a number of customers have requested the IOS functionality to add photos to files directly from a mobile device camera. I had this feature on SPLASHID years and years ago. To me this is the most convenient and important feature your company could make available. How much longer do we have to wait? You certainly charge enough for your software. The feature is available on the Mac but it means I have to first take a photo on my iPhone and transfer it to the Mac when doing everything on the iPhone in the first place is way more productive. Your software feature planners got it backwards. Please please tell someone this feature is badly needed. Thank you. Steve Labo, San Francisco California

People ask for this feature for more then a year.
I agree to pay for one more license and for MAC OS version but please make it available on iOS!!!
Probably, you underestimate its significance. There are a lot of use-cases, when I have to enter data which is already exists on paper, on the screen of may laptop, etc. Even when I'm not lazy and panish myself typing all of those text, how I can be sure that I didn't make a mistake? Isn't it much more convenient to attach the photo of text directly from my iphone camera? Moreover, it's not always needed to have retyped data as text, because I'm just not using it on mobile device, for example login passwords for macos and linux. So why do I have to type it?

I wonder, is there any more impotant task in your tracker? This feature will rise 1password usability up to the sky.

  • Hi folks,

I don't have any new information to share, but we are aware of the desire for this feature and will hopefully be able to implement it in the future.

    Thanks.

Look, let's make it simple. Without this function your whole wallet functionality is useless. I'm going back to E-Wallet - 1Password is not sufficient in the wallet aspect.

Sorry, but you've had plenty of time and patient advise from users - if you can't respond to this basic need (we're doing you user research for you for God's sake!) then I think we can't continue to support with our $.

    Hi @crouchie,

I assume this relates to your Scan Credit/Bank Cards thread. There is nothing I can say in response that Ben hasn't already. We do understand users want this. We are aiming for feature parity over the platforms but it takes time to make our way through all the features requested. We are all looking forward to when this is the case.
