I love the idea of this so just downloaded to my Mac. So far so good. But I need to sync with my iphone and ipad so tried dropbox. Nah. It works on wifi but Dropbox refuses to work. Tried reinstalling but really, do I want to trust my passwords to something so flaky? Nah.

Forgot to say - I want something like this to work out of the box.

@cccustard Which version of 1Password did you download? Did you download from the Agilebits store or the Mac App Store? Also, what version and OS on you phone and Mac are you running? I use Dropbox and so far no issues.

    Hope that helps!!

To me it honestly sounds like the Dropbox sync had not finished when you tired the setup. I could be wrong but thats my gut opinion.

It has been so many years for me since I too had this issue upon my first use of 1Password. But it works very well provided you allow the sync to finish. To repeat Yes I know exactly how problematic that can be as it bit me all those years ago.

    Hi @cccustard,

I think we'll need a little more detail about the steps you're following and where it diverges from expected behaviour. I'm more a Wi-Fi Sync user myself but I do sync my test vault via Dropbox and I've never had any issues. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the service is impervious to glitches (no service is) but your experiences don't reflect the norm. With a little more detail maybe we can figure out what has happened and get you syncing with Dropbox in a nice automated, set-and-forget fashion.
