Hi I dont know how to cut and paste my license. Everytime I open the license area there is no where to paste the license code. Please help. I bought a license but its still on trial mode

    What version of 1P are you using? Please go to 1P > About 1Password and tell us exactly what it says there.

    1P4 and 1P5 use a licence file not a licence code. Note that the upgrade from 1P3 to 1P4/1P5 was not free: you had to pay for it. Did you ever do that?

    Sorry @acaix, I had to tweak your post. The wording is exactly the same, punctuation unaltered, it's just all caps is tougher to read.

    If you have a licence key, a string of characters, then it sounds like you either have a licence for 1Password 3 for Mac or 1Password for Windows. As Stephen_C says, 1Password 4 and 5 use a licence file which you have to download from the email we would have sent you.

    He's linked you to the sticky but also, you can request a list of all known purchases from us by going to our AgileBits Support page and submitting the email address you used at the time of purchase. If they only refer to 1Password 3 then we've discovered the cause of your issue. If you do have a 1Password 4 or 5 licence then you should have a download link in the email to retrieve your licence file and eliminate the Trial Expired message.
