Hi @noct,
When you obtained your new iPhone 6 did you set it up as a brand new phone or did you restore a backup from your old iPhone 4?
Either way we can help you out, it's just one will require a couple more steps. All we need to know is the following:
- Is your only copy of your vault on your iPhone 4 in 1Password 3.7.2? (and not in a copy of 3.7.2 on your iPhone 6)
- Do you have access to a computer that you can use? you will need one only very briefly, basically to save a file and then upload that file.

I have 1password 3.7.2. on iphone4, my data is there.
I have a new iphone 6 and set it up as a brand new iphone.
I can backup my vault to pc by wifi . but it looks like "1Password0100-20150207.1ptbackup" file. but I cant restore it to my new phone.
I dont have 3.7.2 on iphone6. it is 5.2.
I have pc with windows7 that I can use.
waiting yr reply.

Hi @noct,
Given you've already created a backup of your vault these steps should be pretty easy for you.
- On your iPhone 6 go to the App Store app and switch to the Updates tab.
- Select the Purchased menu at the top and drag the list down slightly to reveal the search bar.
- Start typing 1Password and you should see not only the entry for 1Password 5 but also the older 1Password for iPhone (AKA v3)
- Download 3.7.2 to your phone.
- Enter 1Password 3.7.2 and create a blank vault, just so you can gain entry to the settings and restore the backup you created from your iPhone 4.
- If you now open 1Password 5 for iOS it will see you have existing data and ask if you wish to import. More information on this part is available at https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-ios-kb/4/en/topic/upgrading-from-legacy-versions
Now I've assumed you're pretty comfortable with 1Password given you've already created a backup but if I've been a little too spartan with any of the instructions do please let me know and we can go into a bit more detail

I solved problem like that
on iphone4 (which I have my data on 1password 3.7.2) , I searched 1password on appstore. I press download but it said older version will be installed. ok.
I got both 3.7.2 and 4.3.2 at iphone4 .
I opened 4.3.2 version, and it asked "restore from older version". and copied my data from 3.7.2 to new one (4.3.2)
inside 4.3.2 , I sync with dropbox (with my member name).
after that I take my iphone6 , open 1password 5.2, and sync with dropbox :)I didnt know that if we can download an older version of an app that we have a newer one. may be this will be usefull some other time.
thanks for your quick replies and help.
best regards.
this is a very good app for iphone :)0 -
That works too @noct
It's pretty similar to what we would have done on your iPhone 6, with the extra steps being to get your 1Password 3 backup onto your newer iPhone.
I'm glad to hear you're up and running with 1Password 5 for iOS on your new iPhone 6 :chuffed:
If you have any questions in the future you know where we are.
