This is my 2nd thread. I guess I'm expecting responses to quickly, but seems this is where you get support from Agilebits. If there is another way for quicker support could someone post for me Thanks. After reading reviews, etc, etc, I thought I would try out 1Password. I need it for Windows desktop and iphone 6+ and ipad mini. I have set it up, added browser exensions, and have added all identity info. I'm now trying to start the password part and nothing is working, My 1Password closes pretty fast (I have it set for 1 hour at this tie on my ipad mini. I go to a website and login and nothing from 1Password. What am I missing, I then go back to this progam and have to sign on again after only 2 minutes. What am I Missing?? Does 1Password not ask if you want to save a password after you enter it for the 1st time??I've bought the pro version, but I can't get anything to take. I've read that there is an extra step in IOS now that the update has happened. IOS 8.1.2, 1password 5.2 with Iphone 6+ and ipad mini so far. Havent started on windows yet.

    Hi @chipster55,

Currently the forums represent one of the quicker ways to access our support team. We're slowly reducing the backlog but the forums are still pretty useful when the question or issue doesn't require any sensitive data from the user.

Extensions in iOS are new to iOS 8. We managed to jump onto this new feature pretty fast but it's still our first attempt at an iOS extension. So at the moment the Safari extension is limited to filling in existing Login items already in your vault. This is in contrast to the browser extensions in the Mac and Windows version which are not only a lot more mature but also have significantly more freedom given that iOS is heavily locked down.

This isn't to say we don't wish to improve the extension going forward, of course we do but we also have to be quite careful as iOS extensions do have many restrictions to ensure they don't affect iOS. We hope to bring Login saving as well as access to the Password Generator but need to ensure we do so correctly. My understanding is IOS can terminate an extension whenever it wishes so you can imagine we need to tread carefully.

So with all of the above you may find it easier to populate a synced vault from your Windows machine if you would like 1Password to assist in saving your Logins.

If you have any questions arising from any of that please do ask.
