Stuck on "Syncing" with iCloud
In the iOS app, when setting it up, I chose "iCloud" as my sync method. The app said it found my existing vault, but when I try to sync it it just says "Syncing" forever and never doe anything. I left it on and screen unlocked for 8 hours last night, it never changed from "Syncing".
I tried deleting the app and reinstalling, same problem.
Using iOS 8.1.3 and iPhone 6.

So you're using 1Password on another device and have already set up iCloud syncing there and this is you trying to initialise 1Password for iOS on your iPhone, is that correct?
Can you let us know what other devices use 1Password and are syncing to iCloud at this moment in time please.
If you just have a single device for example we might suggest disabling iCloud sync and deleting the sync data, see what happens when you re-enable iCloud sync. Of course we'll gain a much better idea of the best solution once we have a better idea of your situation.

It's ok, I've abandoned the idea anyway since iCloud syncing doesn't work on Windows

That is sadly true @gers1978. If you want to sync with 1Password for Windows then your best option is Dropbox which is as agnostic as you can get. It will sync with all platforms and I believe the only version of 1Password it can't sync with at the moment is 1Password 3 for iOS, a version of the app you can't purchase any more and a good couple of years old.
