updating from 3.8.21 to 3.8.22 fails

I keep getting an error that say "error occurred while extracting the archive" I'm running 10.9.5 so I can jump up to 5.1. Anyone else have this problem or know a fix?

I'm going to guess that the thanks was thanks to @Stephen_C for resolving your issue rather than thanks Megan, I'll post if I have questions @genebofunk?

I just don't want to assume you're all sorted out unless it genuinely is.
