Unable to sync iphone and ipad to Mac Air

I'm running current versions of Yosemite and 1 password. When I try to sync my iphone or ipad to Mac Air, a message pops up: 1 password can't find Mac to sync with. Make sure computer is connected to same network (it is) and running 1 password app (it is) with wifi sync option enabled (it is). What can I do? Thanks.

    Try this:

    1. disable wifi sync on all devices then re-enable it on all devices; and/or
    2. reboot all devices and try wifi sync again.

If neither of those works please post again with a little more information. Has wifi sync ever worked for you? In other words, is this just an intermittent problem? Please confirm the exact versions of 1P you are using on your Mac and other devices (not just "current versions"). You can find the 1P for iOS version by going to the 1P Settings screen and looking towards the bottom of the screen.

There are other solutions we can try depending on your answers.

Stephen, When I try to sync my Mac Air with my iphone or ipad, I notice that My Primary Vault (my only vault) is checked, but screened back

Stephen, unfortunately your suggestions didn't help. Still gt the message: Computer Not found on my iphone and ipad when I try to sync.

Got sync to work. Can't remember all the steps. . .but I'm heaving a sigh of relief.

  • Thanks for the update, @jayshore. I'm glad to hear you were able to get it working. If you end up recalling the steps you took it may help others in the future if you could post them here.

    Thanks again.
