OS 10.6.8 1PW3 ---> OS10.9 1PW4

I had a license for 1PW 3 and just upgraded my computer to Mavericks, NOT Yosemite. I'm waiting to see if I even like Mavericks, there's a lot of features I'm not that happy with and I've heard a lot of horror stories about Yosemite. SO, I'm wondering, if I do pay the $24.99 upgrade fee to go from 3 to 4, will I then be able to go from 4 to 5 for free? I could go from 3 to 5 for the same price, so it makes sense that I would be able to. I just don't want to pay if I'm going to have to pay again. And further, is there going to be a 1PW 6? Will it be another paid upgrade, which would be getting a bit ridiculous. I love the program, btw, makes my life way easier. Just figuring out what OSX I want to be burdened with.

    Yes, version 4 & version 5 licences are identical. Put another way, you don't pay anything to upgrade from 1P4 to 1P5.

    I hope that Stephen_C's answer above helped, he's spot on. As for 1Password 6 ... well, we're not quite there yet, so I can't say much about our future plans for the next major version. I can tell you though that we love our users and want to be sure that we minimize paid upgrades whenever possible.
