Please take Secure Notes seriously! [Fixed in 1Password 5.2.1 for iOS]

First of all, I really do appreciate all the hard work that goes into creating and updating 1Password. 1Password has been a wonderful tool for me ... up until v5. I rely on Secure Notes, and to this day I'm still finding critical missing information from the original "notes not being saved" bug in version 5.0, and 5.0.1 - quite distressing and time consuming to reconstruct. And now there is the new long notes bugs and the random change thrown at us about not being able to select part of a note. It feels like the Secure Notes feature is not treated as an important part of 1Password - hard to believe how these bugs could make it past quality control if Notes WERE considered a critical part of 1Password. Thanks again for the hard work, but please realize that if customers ARE using Notes in a security app like 1Password that the integrity of this feature is crucial.

  • Hi @abernathy,

First off, thank you for your thoughts and concerns on secure notes. We recognize things have not been the greatest there lately. We're working on some fixes that should restore secure notes to what they should be very soon.

I apologize for all the inconvenience here. We're working to make things better.

How much longer will we have to wait for a "fix"

  • This fix should be available very soon. :)

  • I just wanted to follow up with how soon I meant by very soon. The fix is now available on the App Store in 1Password 5.2.1 for iOS.
