Sync different vaults via Dropbox or Wi-Fi separately?

I noticed that the 5.2 desktop client can seemingly handle this, but the iOS client can only handle a single sync method here. I'm not even sure if the 5.1 iOS client can handle multiple vaults since I've never tried it.

It'd be cool to have multiple vaults syncing multiple ways, and might be an interesting configuration for different purposes. Is there any hope of support for this in the near future in the iOS client, or would it require separate physical devices? :D

I am also interested in this option. I currently have 3 vaults depending on sensitivity. One is for work and I don't want to sync that particular vault to a cloud service.
If possible I would definitely like the ability to sync primary through a cloud solution and have the ability to also sync any additional vaults through wifi.

Any news whether this may be a possibility?

@sekmet: At this time, we don't have anything to announce. It would take some significant changes, but we're certainly not ruling it out for the future. Thanks again for your interest! :)

+1 for this feature request too!

At the moment one has to switch iOS devices to WiFi Sync when we want this scenario:

    • a folder-synced vault has to go to the iOS device (company keys)
    • a dropbox-synced vault has to go to the iOS device (private keys)

So on the road or when WiFi is offline I have a non-synced-device :-(
    Right?

    That would be correct.

I am an IT Security Major and there are just some things that I don't trust to the cloud... at least not yet. Companies say they employ certain IT Security procedures but then they make headlines the next day and eat the words they promised their user base.

Personally this is how I use 1Password. The vault I sync with dropbox are items that I don't consider too sensitive.
2nd and 3rd vaults consist of one being for personal more private use (banking, accounts, etc.) and work related items (no keys to the kingdom lol). They all have separate passwords and yes my master password is more of a passphrase.

I am hoping that this would be a possibility or atleast allow me to create a new vault on my iOS device and keep it offline.

Appreciate the feedback Brent and Truni.
