Can I display character numbers for a field?

Hi,
Firstly, congrats on a great product!

I have a number of passwords where the institution asks for, say, characters 1,8 and 14 of my password. It makes my eyes blur trying to count the characters out. Is it possible within 1P to display the character number above the actual password?

    This has often been asked for, and the developers are aware that it is much requested, but have not done anything yet.

    Myself, I put the password in the Notes field in groups of five, such as abide fghij and so on, which makes it easy to identify characters 8 and 14.

    Hi @Turtle99,

    The workaround suggested by danco is about the best we can suggest right now, but I can certainly send your suggestion to our developers.

    In case it helps, some customers copy their password into the Notes field, then put the corresponding numbers directly below that. For example:

    p a s s w o r d 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

    Of course, whatever works best for you is fine. If you have more questions, please let us know! :)
