Trial Expired ???

Been using Password 3.8 more than year ... paid ~ $55 a year + ago. I upgrade to Yosmite and upgraded to 5.? 1Password.

I though the upgrade was free? I have the message "trial expired" .... when entering my email - [email deleted] your system says it not valid, which throw me??? Please clue me in? I appreciate your help.

    @UserError I have deleted your email address. This is a public forum and publishing it here is an irresistible temptation to spammers.

    As you have discovered, the update from 1P3.8 to 1P5 is not free. Did you definitely buy 1P3 direct from AgileBits (in which case you will be on their records, somewhere)? If you bought from the Mac App Store AgileBits will not have any record of your purchase.

    If you definitely bought from AgileBits send an email to support+licenses @ agilebits.com with the following information:

    1. your full name;
    2. your full address when you purchased 1P;
    3. the approximate date you bought 1P;
    4. the email address you think used when you purchased 1P;
    5. a link to this thread.

    You will receive an automatic response with a ticket number. Post that number in this thread, which will help AgileBits connect the two—and also check if you're entitled to any discounted upgrade price.
