1Password unlocks, then locks again seconds later
I've been having trouble with 1Password since upgrading to 5.1, where it locks again seconds after unlocking. It had only been doing this intermittently, but it's been doing it all the time for over a day now. This is on a Mac running OSX Yosemite. I see there was a similar posting about this about year ago in this group, but it was closed with no solution mentioned. Anyone else seen this problem? Any suggestions on a fix?
I should add that I'm using iCloud sync, and after the upgrade I noticed two sync files in iCloud storage, so unconfigured iCloud sync, deleted them, then reconfigured. I have two IOS devices syncing to the same iCloud account without any problems.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password right now. I think I know where things are getting tangled up, but I'll need you to do a quick test for me first, just to confirm that I'm on the right track.
Please unlock 1Password, but keep your eye on the 1Password mini icon in the menu bar. If it disappears and then re-appears, then we've discovered our problem: for some reason, 1Password mini is crashing.
When this happens, you should see a crash window appear on your screen. Fill in your name and email address, and allow the report to send. Then send me a private message with the name and email address you filled in, so that we can track this report down.
If you don't see the 1Password mini flicker, please let me know, and we'll investigate further.

My problem seems to be fixed now. You guessed right - my mini icon would disappear/reappear when 1Password would go through unlock/lock, but I wasn't getting a crash window on the screen. I poked around and found two copies of 1Password in my Applications folder ('1Password 5.app' and a '1Password.app'). I follow some instructions I found - quit 1P mini, close 1P, remove extra copy, reboot, and so far so good.
Thanks for your help (and also for an earlier posting of yours that resolved my iCloud sync issues).
