Problem syncing via dropbox between Mac user accounts.

1Password is set to sync via dropbox. New passwords / logins created under one user name won't sync to other user on same computer. The new entries do show up in a separate 1password user's account (via a shared vault, also using dropbox) on another local computer. What do you suggest? Thank you for your help.

    I'm sorry you're having difficulty with Dropbox sync! To make sure I understand, you're saying changes to 1Password aren't syncing between two different user accounts on the same Mac via Dropbox sync, but those changes do sync from one Mac user to 1Password on a separate computer (via shared vault in Dropbox)?

    If so, are both Mac user accounts using the same Dropbox account, or different accounts with a shared vault in Dropbox?

    Either way, let's start by checking the sync settings in 1Password for each Mac user account:

    Log into Mac user account #1 (i.e. the one where Dropbox sync works with another computer):

    • Open 1Password and go to the menu for 1Password > Preferences.
    • Click the Sync tab (select the correct vault on the left side, if necessary).
    • Make sure Dropbox is selected as the sync option for that vault.
    • Check the file path for the .agilekeychain file.

    Now log into Mac user account #2 (i.e. the one where Dropbox sync isn't working):

    • Open 1Password and go to the menu for 1Password > Preferences.
    • Click the Sync tab (select the correct vault on the left side, if necessary).
    • Is Dropbox selected as the sync option for that vault? If not, follow these steps to set up Dropbox sync.
    • If Dropbox sync is already selected, check the file path for the .agilekeychain file.

    If the problem is that one is syncing with a different keychain file than the other, you'll need to disable the sync, then set it up again and choose the correct keychain file.

    Hello. After disabling and re-enabling dropbox sync on the second, non-syncing account, sync now appears to be working. Before, newly-created logins were not showing up in the 2nd account; now they are there. Thanks for your help!
