I have 1Password5 on three of my Apple devices & want to put it on my MacMini. At the moment I don't have wifi, so I'm not sure how to get it on my computer. I must have downloaded it on my MacBook Air from your website, as I don't see it in my purchases in the App store. I have the license but I'm in a quandary on which place to download it to my MacMini. Help would be sincerely appreciated!

    Hi @ninisusie,

I think the first thing we should do is establish where you purchased 1Password 5 from. I tried checking our records for the email address you use here in the forums but I couldn't find anything. The reason being you're best to download from the same location. Now I don't know if it applies to you or not but in the past some of our users have found the licensing confusing. 1Password is licensed per platform so if you purchased 1Password for iOS it doesn't confer a licence for Mac.

Anyway, once we determine whether you're looking for the Agile Web Store (AWS) or Apple's Mac App Store (MAS) version we can help you get sorted out with your Mac Mini. A good place to start would be to check the copy of 1Password on your MacBook Air. If you look in 1Password > About 1Password what does it say? If there is also a License... option in the 1Password drop down menu what does it say in there, does it say you're licensed or that you're in a trial?

I'm sure I purchased it from the website. I have changed my email address that I bought it with. About 1Password says 1Password5 version 5.1 (510035). The license was purchased on 1/29/2014. Since the MacBook Air is not on wifi I can't give you any other info about the license. I did get an email with the license info on it. When I got it I clicked on the download: I think I should have clicked on Register to automatically add my license. After having issues with it, I just deleted it and want to star from scratch!!

  • Hi @ninisusie,

You can always download 1Password for free on any Macs from our website here: http://agilebits.com/downloads

You use that license email to register your copy of 1Password on each Mac. Make sure you open 1Password first before you click on the register link in the email because OS X needs to know 1Password is installed before it can process the registration link. You might find this guide useful: https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-mac-kb/5/en/topic/adding-a-license

After having issues with it, I just deleted it and want to star from scratch!!

Let us know how you get on with the download and registering your license afterward.
