Dropbox Merge [moved to email for additional troubleshooting/resolution]
I am using version 5.1 and after initiating a sync and merge with an existing Dropbox keychain the number of items in my vault goes from 253 to 43. It doesn't seem to be merging, just replacing with what is already on Dropbox. How do I keep all the items in my current vault while merging them with items in the Dropbox keychain file?

That's unusual, it should merge both vaults.
First thing, can you email us your diagnostic report to support+forum@agilebits.com with a link to this thread, so we can see what actually happened in the background as it merged both vaults into one vault.
After that, you should be able to restore from an early backup before the merge to get your data back. To do this, open the main 1Password app, unlock, disable the sync via the 1Password Menu > Preferences > Sync. After this, go to the Backups tab in the Preferences dialog and restore from an early backup.
You might want to do the same on the other side with the Dropbox vault to restore from an early backup or get Dropbox to restore the folder back from a day before the merge.
For now, don't merge anything until we get your report to see what's going on. Let us know here when you sent it, so we can look for it.

I think I figured it out. I emptied trash and tried again with a fairly successful merge. Ended up with 50 items back in trash...I'm assuming 1Password thought these were duplicates.

Can I just confirm that you're saying the problem is resolved? If it is I'll close the tickets created from sending in the diagnostic reports but obviously don't want to do so unless everything is definitely okay.

I can't find the emails. Can you tell me if you sent the report from the same email address you're using in your forum account here? If not, can you give me the email ticket ID, so I can look into it or send me a private message here with your email address.
We will investigate to see what's going on and I'll follow up to let you know what happened. When you merge the vaults, we do run a conflict resolution on each item. 1Password certainly should not be deleting duplicates or anything like that, duplicates are simply not imported, they don't go into the Trash.

The email is different. The email ticket ID is #TZB-32475-297. I thought I had it figured out but items are still being deleted when syncing between computers.
