upgrade from mac app store broke 1password
I get "can't connect to 1password mini". I tried the "remove app to trash, empty trash, reboot, redownload form MAS". Same message. Please help. tried this twice and also repaired disc permissions. Very frustrated. Works fine on my iPad and iPhone and I sync to iCloud, no issues on iOS.

It sounds like you're experiencing the same issue as the person in this thread. Can you confirm for us please
- Did you just update to 1Password 5.1?
- Is the error message when you try to use the browser extension?
- What version of OS X, browser and browser extension are you running?
If it's the same issue we'll merge the two threads and work with both of you to discover why this happened after the update. It's odd, I know a lot of our customers have updated and not had this issue so I'm unsure what is happening in these two cases that caused the problem for you.

Downloaded web store version 5.3. Works fine. MAS version keeps telling me to download new version, I do and then when it opens I get "can't find 1 password mini, blah blah and then it opens the web store log in screen when I dismiss. I just want to uninstall the MAS version. Only 1 instance of 1pass in my app folder. MAS keeps telling me there is an update, down again and same issue. HELP. MAS version needs to go away. Is there no way to do this? OS10.10.3 Safari 8.05

Never mind, figured it out. Uninstalled just like on iOS. Hold down app icon in launchpad until it jiggles, and hit the x. All is well.
