Editing password in 5.2 is not user friendly

It is very difficult to add one character somewhere in a very long password. You can only scroll left and right in the concealed password. It is very hard to find the right position in the long line of dots. You have to count the position in the revealed password below.

    Hi @ErtjeTheFreeze,

You're quite right, it does exactly what you describe. I went to file a report and found that this is actually on purpose. So it was deliberately done because Apple tries to learn what you type and we didn't want your iOS device learning passwords. I can only hope there is a more elegant solution that we can settle on though.

    Hi,

I'm all for not letting iOS learn my passwords and thus using a password input field.
Maybe it's possible for editing to navigate through the revealed password and update the cursor position accordingly in the concealed password? That way you know where to insert/delete a character.

    Hi @ErtjeTheFreeze,

I think that's a great idea, and you'll be happy to know that's already on our developers' "to do" list. :) That should make editing a password much easier, so hopefully they'll be able to add that soon, although I don't have a timeframe for when that will happen. I'm sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime! If you have any other questions or feedback, please let us know.
