Master password on iOS not accepted with accents
I use a master password with a Hungarian accent, but it is not accepted on iOS. It is perfectly fine on windows or on Android.
Example Hungarian accents: öüóőúéáűíÖÜÓŐÚÉÁŰÍ

Hi @konczpeter ,
We highly recommend you use only ASCII characters for your Master Password. Accented characters can potentially be coded differently between platforms, so it's best to just keep it simple and avoid accents and special characters in your Master Password.

I didn't check the documentation, but this comes up often enough that I wonder if something should be added to the screens where a person creates a password to advise only using ASCII characters.

Hi @hawkmoth,
You certainly won't get any disagreement from me. I've added both yours and @konczpeter's posts to the ticket regarding this along with my own thoughts.

And now in English
1Password accepts any character, but unfortunately the bit string that the OS and keyboard sends may different depending on the OS.
I suggest using the conventions that are used for telegraphs. E.g., ű - uue, ó - oe, etc.
