    @MisterJPG

You may have gotten a bad download, try a fresh one.

One thing that may be hindering you is what version you are trying to use. Ex. 1Password 3, 4, 5 and what browser etc If you can give us more details we can try to give you more help.

If you go to 1P > Install Browser Extensions... and do it that way, then yes. (I've assumed you're using 1P4 or 1P5 as you've not told us what version you're running.)

    Aha! Perhaps that is why.

My iMac crashed. My backup wasn't used for 4 months. I had to migrate and the iPassword is now at 3.

I did purchase 5. Ah.. I guess I'll email support to get registration key to log in iPassword 5.

I think this will fix it. Thanks!

That is very odd. I used my email address and 1Password couldn't find it. I know I did buy 1P 5 because it has been syncing with my 1password on iPhone. Is there a way you can help me with this? My name's Jason Gunderson.

Is it possible that you bought 1P5 from the Mac App Store rather from the AgileBits store? Go to 1P5 > About 1Password and tell us exactly what it says there.

Yeah. I went there and it's showing 49.99. If it showed the icon from the cloud indicating that I bought it, I would download it immediately. I'm perplexed. :-/

    Hi @MisterJPG,

Do you currently have 1Password installed on your Mac? If so, open the 1Password app and then go to the menu for 1Password > About 1Password. In the window that opens, you should see the version number. You can also go to the menu for 1Password > Install Browser Extensions, and that will take you to the site where you can install the correct extension for that version of 1Password.

If you don't have 1Password installed on your Mac right now, then you can re-download it from our website or the Mac App Store, depending on where you purchased it. I tried searching our system for the email address associated with your forum account but couldn't find any licenses for you. If you purchased a license from our web store with a different email address, you can have your license info resent to that address by entering it in the "I've lost my license" section at the top of our support site.

Or if you bought 1Password from the Mac App Store, you'll need to launch MAS and make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used when you made that purchase, and then you should be able to install 1Password from the Purchases section.

Does that help at all? If you're still having trouble, please let us know which version of 1Password you currently have installed (if any), which version of Mac OS X your Mac is running, and if you think you bought 1Password from our web store or the Mac App Store. Thanks!

    Thanks Drew for responding.

Like I said earlier, I knew I had 1P 5 on my iMac because I have been using it to sync with my phone. But anyway, I am not able to locate it in my App Store purchases. I went to AgileBits store to buy as an upgrade. It couldn't offer me a price. Do you think it's something you could look into?

I look forward getting back in the 1P fold once again.

I forgot to mention the one running on my computer is 1P 3.8 build. I probably had it since 2010 or something. I upgraded to 5 sometimes last fall.

    Hi @MisterJPG,

I've removed the screenshot of your license, but thanks for providing us those details!

I'm sending you a private message with further information. :)
