Help with spirit air
Having trouble with setting up spirit airlines. When I logged on the first time I saved the information to 1P. 1P did not save the password so i manually entered it into 1P. When i go back to open the website through 1P, it calls up the spirit page
http://www.spirit.com/Default.aspx# and i need to click member login. 1P enters the user name and logon but keeps prompting me to save logon.

Hi @safety1,
Thanks for including the URL in your original post - that makes it a lot simpler for us to get things out! Unfortunately, this is a tricky page, because the log in pane exists in a pop-up. So, you won't be able to use 'Go and Fill' (where you select the item in 1Password and 1Password opens the URL and fills your details automatically).
There are a couple of options here:
- If the site has an alternate log in page (that is a proper page instead of a pop-up) you could use that to log in with 1Password instead of the main page.
- You can go to the site manually, click the 'log in' button and then use ⌘\ ( Command- \ ) to fill your details.
1P enters the user name and logon but keeps prompting me to save logon.
I'm not able to re-create this part ... 1Password does not prompt me to save the details after I use ⌘\ ( Command- \ ) to fill in the pop-up. Have you tried to Save a New Login Manually? This is how I created my test Login.

Very odd i did that and it doesn't save the password. I have to manually edit and enter the password, and every time i try to logon to site as you suggested i still get prompted to save login.

Hi @safety1,
Thanks for trying that out for me! Let's get some more detail to see if we can track down where things are getting tangled up:
- Which browser are you using, and what is its version number?
- Which version of the 1Password extension are you using? (This should be found in the browser's Preferences pane, under 'Extensions')

Safari version 8.0.3
Under extensions 1Password 4.2.50 -
Hi @safety1,
Please try this with the beta version of our extension:
- In Safari's Preferences, click to uninstall the existing 1Password extension.
- Restart Safari.
- Go to our extension download page and click the button to 'Enable betas'
- Click the big green button to download the beta extension.
Does this work any better?

No still the same.

Hi @safety1,
My apologies, I should have clarified in my previous post: after you've installed the beta extension, you'll need to Save a New Login Manually, to take full advantage of the new filling magic our developers have written into the extension. This should get things behaving properly.

Hi @safety1,
Once we release the new filling logic I believe it will do a better job with this page. I've just tried the two betas and it did record the password as well as the username. I haven't been able to replicate the save login prompt but I believe that's because I'm working with dummy data and not actually logging in at any point.
One thing you can try is the next time the prompt pops up there is a way to tell 1Password to ignore a particular domain. In the image below you can see the small menu that will become visible if you click on the little cog in the bottom left hand corner of the 1Password Save Login window.
After that it shouldn't bother you again but obviously remember that if you change your password at the site. Hopefully that might reduce the annoyance factor on this particular site.
