1password often quits

Hi,

Since two days, 1password often quits, showing a window, untitled "Rapport de problèmes pour 1password" (Problem report for 1Password 5) . This window says in French '1Password automatically stopped. Do you want to send a crash report to developers ?"
(See attached image)
But, it is impossible to send any report!
My 1Password version is 5.1, on mac OS 10.10.2.

    1. What made it impossible to send the report? When you filled in your name and email address was the "Envoyer" button not enabled?
    2. It may be worth re-installing 1P—although I'm guessing AgileBits would like first to see the crash report, so it may be better to wait for a response fro AgileBits.

    If you really are stuck without access to 1P please post again and I'll suggest something that might solve the problem.

    I don't know exactly, but even if I write something in the comments field and even if I give my name and email in the opened fields, the Send button (Envoyer) stays grey So, this window stays on my desktop until I shut the application.

    You are, don't worry about that.

    Please try this:

    1. Drag the 1P app to the trash (don't use any app cleaner tool, which is likely to try to delete files you need to keep).
    2. Empty the trash and reboot.
    3. Re-download and re-install 1P.

    Please see if that solves the problem for you.

    I'm sorry the 1Password app has been crashing on your Mac! Do the steps from Stephen help? Please let us know how it goes and if you still have trouble after that. Thanks!

    Hi Drew,
    Yes, the steps from Stephens helped me. I had 2 1password opened at the same time (coming from two different partitions on my mac) !
    I rebooted and everything is OK.

    Hi @benassis,

    As you're running Yosemite we advise only keeping one copy of the 1Password application. There is an issue in Yosemite where the wrong copy of 1Password mini may be launched and cause all sorts of issues. Hopefully that will be the end of your crashing woes.

    I can't explain why the OS X crash report isn't allowing you to send though I have heard of this once before but we didn't discover the why.
