transferring data to new 1Password

I have been using 1Password for some time and couldn't locate my license (not totally certain I ever had one as 1Password was originally set up by a hired computer person). Decided to purchase new version 5 from iTunes, and did so. It seems I now have two different 1Passwords on my Mac. I thought the data transfer might be automatic but it obviously isn't I would like to transfer all my entries from the old to the new. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Hi @RonB11,

    1Password is free to use for up to 20 items or 30 days, so if you had less than 20 items all this time, 1Password would remain free.

    I checked your email address you listed in your forum account, I didn't find any orders with it. Is it possible the tech you hired bought 1Password under a different email address we could check (don't tell us the email address here)?

    The Mac App Store version is supposed to pick up the data from your other 1Password database. Can you tell me if you can open the other 1Password app and see your data after unlocking it? You should see 1Password 5.app file in your Applications folder, which is the trial/website version.
