We want to do this within our wireless network, avoiding Dropbox or any other external server.

    Hi @jwi,

It is possible and it is something some of our users do want.

For the two Macs you would want to use Folder Sync as you can't use the Wi-Fi Sync option between two Macs. Now when we use Dropbox or iCloud, those services do some of the important syncing duties for us so you would need to use a third party tool such as ChronoSync or rsync. The path of least resistance with syncing is that the 1Password.agilekeychain is synced to a path local to the drive so it is always available. Then use the third party tool to either sync to a server of your own or directly between the two Macs.

For the iOS devices you will need to use Wi-Fi Sync which can be used at the same time as Folder Sync.

Using that combination your vaults won't leave your devices or machines beyond being transmitted over your local network during syncing. If you have any follow up questions do please ask away.
