Logitech forums not working
Hi,
Has anybody managed to get the new Logitech forums working with 1Password? I have tried all my usual tricks and it's just not working, taking me to a completely different page.
If you did succeed can you please post your steps how you got it done?
Thanks.

Hi @steve23094,
For me it seems to be all about when we mimic pressing the enter key to submit the login. If I edit the item the change the submit field to Never submit it works fine when I click on the Sign in button. Does that help at all?

Thanks for your reply. I can't even get 1Password to navigate to the correct page.
Manually navigating to this page forums.logitech.com and selecting login, typing in username and password manually correctly redirects me to back to forums.logitech.com and I am logged in.
If I edit the 1P login page URL to this https://support.logitech.com/#login whether I set 1P to submit or not I always get redirected back to this page https://support.logitech.com/en_us/home?login=true when attempting to login through 1Password.
When I manually navigate to the correct login page 1Password is asking to save the login as this page https://support.logitech.com/en_us/create-account?type=login&lang=en&referer=http%3A%2F%2Fforums.logitech.com%2F
It's something to do with 1Password misinterpreting the page URL. What is the URL of the login page you are using?

Hi @steve23094,
If I start at http://forums.logitech.com the Log In link takes me to https://support.logitech.com/en_us/create-account?type=login&lang=en&referer=http://forums.logitech.com/ which I've just copied by right clicking on the Log In link and using the Copy Link command in Safari. That is also the link I have stored in my Login item.
Now I was using 1Password mini with the 1Password browser extension rather than the open and fill option from within the main window and I think that's what you're doing is it? I've just tried both ways and going via 1Password mini works while the open and fill from the main window doesn't. It also doesn't work in the beta so that won't help.
So for the moment the best way is to access the Login via 1Password mini. That is what happens when you click on the extension button or use the
⌥⌘\
keyboard shortcut. That works reliably for me so hopefully it does for you too.0
