sharing 1Password in family

Hi all, I set the family sharing on my Apple account, including in it my wife. I purchased 1Password Pro Features but on my wife's device, by downloading the app from the purchases made by me, she can get only the free version with the Pro Features blocked. What is wrong, apart from my English?

Thank You

You will have to buy the pro version on your wife's phone too, Family Sharing doesn't include in-app purchases that's why you're not able to get the pro version, it's an in-app purchase.

  • Hi @marcelloc,

@pedrosoares Is correct. Apple's Family Sharing does not provide for the sharing of in-app purchases, which is what 1Password's Pro features are.

    Thanks.

    Hi @marcelloc,

When we shifted from a paid app to the freemium model (free to download with extra features available via the in-app purchase) we had hoped that in-app purchases were to be part of the to be revealed Family Sharing. We wanted people to be able to share the pro features like they can share 1Password for Mac. Sadly it didn't turn out the way we expected it. We had a call to make and it didn't go our way. Still, users can try out the basic version for free and nobody has to purchase the pro features if they don't want them.

    Sorry about that.
