Notes with password field not syncing from iOS to OSX via dropbox
I am having problems with syncing notes. I have created one on iOS (5.2.1) and the note exists on OSX but the password field I created on iOS is not visible on OSX. Both versions are syncing via dropbox to the default location and both show they have synced but the data isn't updating from iOS to OSX.

Hi @Alex_L,
Thank you for reporting that issue. What you've discovered is we're treating Secure Notes differently between iOS and OS X. Until I can highlight this with the developers I can't say what the resolution will be but one way or another we will try to make the two behave in the same way.
For now I would recommend storing the extra information in another item type and you could use tags to highlight they're related for example.
Once again, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Thank you. Disappointing your QA/testing doesn't pick this feature disparity up. Erodes my confidence.

Hi @Alex_L,
It seems it has already been corrected in the beta version of 1Password for Mac (which I did forget to test against) and so unless there is some significant set back it ought to be in the next stable release. At that point 1Password for iOS and Mac will mirror each other.
If you still have the custom fields in the Secure Note, you won't have to re-enter again once the version of 1Password for Mac with this improvement as per my previous reply, the information is being synchronised. For example, if you were to try the beta you'd simply just see the information displayed with no manual intervention required.
