Workflow Question - Do I need to add custom fields every time I add another, say, credit card (etc)?

More precisely, every time I add a credit card or log-in (or anything) there is a list of specific custom fields I would like to appear every time. Right now, it seems as if, every time I add a log-in I need to re-entire the names for those custom fields. So...

1) Is that right? Or am I doing something wrong?

Assuming that I am not doing something wrong - and there isn't a better way - I have come up with this work-around. I create a log-in and call it "Master Log In". Then, every time I need a new log-in, I just pull that up and "Duplicate" it, and enter my data there. Same thing for credit cards or reward programs, etc.

2) Does that seem like the right way to be doing this?

Thanks

@paranoyd - You have come up with the process many users have for doing what you want. Good for you.

    Hi @paranoyd,

You're definitely not doing anything wrong - it's not possible to edit the category templates in 1Password. As hawkmoth mentioned, the workaround you described is what a lot of users are doing. Hopefully we'll have a better way to do that in the future.

If you have more questions, just let us know! :)
