site not taking correct login

For some reason, there is one site that when 1pw inputs the login, it always returns an incorrect login. The username is held in a cookie so 1pw is only filling in the password.

The kicker is that when I go into 1pw and copy the paste the password to the login form, it works without issue.

I feel like it's pulling an old password or something but I have no idea what to do.

I don't want to share the site on a public forum as it's sensitive data.

Yosemite 10.10.2
Chrome Version 41.0.2272.76
1pw 5.1

    There are two possible explanations I can think of:

    1. the site has a hidden restriction on password length which your 1P password exceeds (if you fill from 1P in that circumstance it will fail, but if you copy and paste from 1P it won't);
    2. the site's "behind the scenes" details have changed so that it's not recognising the 1P password field (sorry, not well explained—but see the suggested solution below for that problem).

    The usual solution for problems like 2 is to re-create and save the login manually which helps 1P re-learn the page.

    Thus if 1 is not the problem I'd have a bash at the other solution I've suggested. :)

    The only that that finally worked was that I completely deleted the entry in 1pw. And then I created a new one manually, inputting all fields. That worked. Very strange but it's fixed now.
