Problem updating Login password on shared vault

Hey Drew, seems like we got syncing sorted out. Now we're having one more strange issue: If my wife changes a password and uses the action: Update existing record, the record updates, but then my record as the primary account holder overwrites her update some how. She has figured out an odd work around: if rather than choosing update record, she goes to the record and manually copies and pastes the new p-word in the p-word field, the record updates for both of us without problems. Any thoughts here?

Hi @BenTremper,
I'm glad the previous sync problem is solved! I hope you don't mind, but I've moved your message to a new discussion since it sounds like a different problem.
So to make sure I understand: your wife updates a password on a website and 1Password prompts her to update the Login item, but then at some point after that, the password field in that Login item reverts to the previous password?
That's definitely strange, especially if it works correctly when she manually copies/pastes the new password into that Login item. Has this happened for multiple Login items, or just one? Does any problem happen if she creates a brand new Login item from the 1Password extension (in other words, does it sync correctly to your Mac)?
It may also help if you can let us know some more details about your setup:
- Are you and your wife using 1Password on different Macs, or different Mac user accounts on the same Mac?
- What version of 1Password are you each using?
- What version of Mac OS X are you each using?
- Do you each have multiple vaults set up in 1Password, or do you just have a Primary vault which is shared via Dropbox?
- If you use multiple vaults, which vault has the Login item(s) that reverted to the old password?
- Do you or your wife sync with any other computers/devices?
Thanks!

Hey Drew. Yes you've played this back accurately.
It's really pretty weird. If my wife creates a new login with user and pass and we sync, that new login / pass shows up on my system just fine. Then lets say she edits that login's password and we sync again. In this case, my password is not updated even though hers is. We've tested this multiple times. I'm also noticing that the total login items for our accounts is different I have 418 Entries she has 420 Entries. If we disable our sync and re-sync that number never changes. I've even gone so far as to disable sync, un-share the Dropbox Folder and then re-share it and even then our p-word entries do not match. She generally has 3-4 different total login #'s than I do.Here are More answers to questions above:
Are you and your wife using 1Password on different Macs, or different Mac user accounts on the same Mac?
Yes, we're on different MacBook Pros with different user accounts.
What version of 1Password are you each using?
We're using version 5.1
What version of Mac OS X are you each using?
10.10.2
Do you each have multiple vaults set up in 1Password, or do you just have a Primary vault which is shared via Dropbox?
**I have multiple vaults set up. A personal vault and a work vault. I'm sharing the personal vault with my wife. **
If you use multiple vaults, which vault has the Login item(s) that reverted to the old password?
**The personal vault **
Do you or your wife sync with any other computers/devices?
**I sync with and iPhone too, she does not. **0 -
Hi @BenTremper,
When you've disabled sync, did you delete the 1Password.agilekeychain and have 1Password create a new one or were you simply relinking to the existing sync data?
