Different ways to lock vault?
I know there are at least two ways to lock the vault:
- Clicking the 'lock' icon at the top
- Control, Option, Command and L
However the other day I was clicking around the interface towards the bottom left (not sure if I pressed a key or not), but the vault locked. I know I didn't click the 'lock' icon and didn't do the keyboard shortcut. Is there any other way to lock the vault?
Running OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 and 1Password 4.4.3 if that helps.

If you look at 1P > Preferences > Security under Auto-lock is there anything there that might explain how the vault locked?

Hi @ScarySulley,
I suspect 1Password mini crashed on you. It automatically relaunches itself but as 1Password mini controls the timers the vault would lock when it happens. Certainly I can mimic this behaviour by force quitting 1Password mini when I have the main window open and the vault unlocked.
If I'm correct it wasn't anything you did but merely a blip.

Sorry for the delayed reply...
Hmmm nothing there seems match what occurred. Nice suggestion though.
That does seem like a possibility. I always like to ask about 'odd' occurrences when it comes to 1Password.
Thanks again to you both!
EDIT:
Speaking of odd occurrences, when I launch 1Password and click on 'Help' in the menu bar, the gray background turns a bit lighter. But clicking on any other menu item doesn't change it. Is this a bug?

@ScarySulley: That is strange indeed. The best thing to do would be to use the 1Password Troubleshooting tool to generate a diagnostic report and send it to support+forum at agilebits dot com so we can look at the logs to determine exactly what is happening. Just be sure to include a link to this forum thread in the email so we can 'connect the dots'. We will get to the bottom of this! :)
