Cancel TouchID crashes (iPad Air 2)

The application is designed to work that way. It isn't actually crashing. It's shutting down, since you canceled logging in.
That said, there is a reasonably long thread discussing whether this is the right choice. I can't locate it at the moment, but I'll return and add a link when I find it. One thing to be aware of is that AgleBits has no control over what the Touch ID screen looks like, it's going to continue to show Cancel as an option, unless Apple modifies it.

ok, thank for the answer and info. well, i thought it crashes (=bug) because its a normal behavior of an app after crashing to see the 'desktop'. i never thought its normal ... i checked evernote and a banking app which also uses the TouchID function. by canceling the TouchID the app stays open and offers the option to enter the optional password.
probably it was discussed by others and agile, so ... we will see, what will happen!
