Trying to upgrade from 1Password Pro 3.7.1 to 1Password 5 on iPad2

I first upgraded to iOS8 as recommended in the knowledgebase, but did not lock the old version before doing so. I installed version 5. I launched version 5, and selected sync existing, and import from version 3. I followed the rest of the procedure detailed in the knowledgebase, but nothing transferred. Then I read the knowledgebase, and tried again, locking version 3 first, but it now doesn't ask me if I want to convert my data from 3 to 5.

What do you suggest?

    @BobJFrick Please confirm the exact version of 1Password 3 for iOS you are using. You do this by opening up the 1P3 iOS app and tap More > Settings > About and read the version number there.
