1Password version 5.2.1 may have problems with iOS version 8.2 (released yesterday)
iPhone 6+
SYMPTOM 1: Immediately after upgrading, everytime I launched 1Password version 5.2.1 under iOS 8.2, I got a dialog box for the password, then I touch a key and the App appears to crash: Goes to black screen with white apple, then returns to main icon screen of iOS. Fairly reproducible. Then I tried to record the screen using ScreenFlow (Mac) and that problem went away.
SYMPTOM 2: On reopening 1Password, get a dialog "WiFi sync is rate limited! Please retry in 10.0 seconds. 1Password encountered a problem." That too disappeared and it now appears working; although, on restarting the phone this SYMPTOM appears reproducible.

I rather suspect this is nothing to do with the upgrade to iOS 8.2 (although I stand to be corrected if you say it's never happened before that). The usual solution to this sort of crash on a iPhone 6+ is to disable zoomed mode: see this AgileBits post. Perhaps you might try that and see if it solves the problem.

It's never happened before (and I have been using 1Password a LONG time). Also, my zoom mode is OFF (I checked) and has been for a long time.
I checked the iOS console log and found:

It shows a bunch of messages of the form:
Mar 10 04:09:12 Davids-iPhone SpringBoard[53] : CGContextSetAlpha: invalid context 0x0. This is a serious error. This application, or a library it uses, is using an invalid context and is thereby contributing to an overall degradation of system stability and reliability. This notice is a courtesy: please fix this problem. It will become a fatal error in an upcoming update.

Thanks for including the console log. I'm sure that will be helpful to AgileBits. For what it's worth, my iPhone 5s shows no such error messages in the console log following the upgrade and neither does my iPad Air 2 (which I've just this moment upgraded to iOS 8.2, and for which I've immediately checked the log). I say that only to assist others to track the cause of the errors, which may possibly be limited in some way to your iPhone 6 model.

Hi @dcblack ,
The Springboard is not Apple's interface to the watch, it's the home screen - i.e. the screens with the app icons. It's been called Springboard since the first iPhone. We're actually looking into that issue as we've seen it before. It's the home screen that is crashing. Has that issue come back since it went away? If so, have you noticed a usage pattern that seems to trigger it?
Regarding the WiFi error, this is caused by successive (but unsuccessful) attempts to sync over WiFi. This may happen to a phone that has just joined the WiFi network. Check your Sync Settings to make sure it can sync successfully after the error goes away.

How about this one. I just updated to iOS 8.2 on my 5S. When I go to launch 1Password I get a dialog to enter my AppleID. This does not happen on my iPad Air when I launch 1Password. Any suggestions?

Hi @badoyn,
Apple is having some significant problems with their online services (including the iTunes Store and Mac App Store) at the moment, and so what you're seeing may be a side effect of that. If it is still happening in a day or so after Apple has resolved those issues please let us know.
You can get status updates here: http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/
Thanks!
Ben

iPad Air2
when I open 1Password I am asked to enter my iTunes password and then get a login failed and 1password closes. the link button for 1password in safari just doesn't work any more. I am getting lots of weird stuff happening all over on the iPad but not in the iPhone 6.0 -
@badoyn: Hopefully once things stabilize your troubles will be behind you there. We're always glad to help! :)
One thing I will add is that I have been experiencing some similar crashes across the board with iOS 8 in general. The latest update seems like it has improved stability so far, though.
I will say that one thing that has helped me in the past is -- and this may sound silly -- powering down the phone completely and restarting it. Many times my iPhone has restarted itself, but that doesn't seem to help at all; however, after powering down completely and doing a cold boot the crashes subside.
I'm not entirely sure of the details, but it may be that there is still some data left over in memory after a soft reset (either the OS restarting itself, or the user holding down the Home and Power buttons until it restarts).

my problems have resolved themselves. Apparently it was the iTunes site problems. Still had to login to iTunes to get 1password to load. That seems strange to me.

Same here. Issue fixed.

Glad to hear once Apple got back on their feet everything worked itself out. :)
