1Password for iPad and iPhone

Simple question: I have set up 1Password on my iPad and like it. Now, can I copy it to my iPhone and if so, how? Or do I have to purchase another 1Password and then laboriously enter in all my details again? Thanks. Brianhe

If your iOS-devices are using the same apple ID, you can just download 1password to your phone.

There is no further purchase necassary.

@eisefr is right about the download. After you've installed 1P on your iPhone take a look at this knowledge base article about how to sync your 1P data between devices. You'll find there's no need to input everything again on the phone.

The iOS license is universal, so you can install it on all devices that share the same Apple ID without your having to pay again.

Thanks Stephen. OK. I downloaded the app onto my iPhone and tried to sync via dropbox. When I enter my email and password the next screen offers only my name and how many KB is has taken and 'Connect Another Account'. Nothing in my dropbox?

    Hi @Brianhe,

I noticed you posted the same question in our Lounge forum, so I merged that with your existing discussion in the iOS forum.

As for the problem you're having when setting up Dropbox sync, it sounds like you're choosing the Sync with Dropbox option, signing into your Dropbox account, and then seeing a screen that shows information about your Dropbox account. That's just to confirm you signed into the correct Dropbox account (if not, you would want to tap the Connect Another Account option). As long as that's the right account, tap the name of your Dropbox account to continue the setup.

Hopefully that helps, but let us know if you have more questions about that. Thanks!
