Copy and Reveal Buttons

Hey,

I've always found that the copy and reveal buttons both in the app and in the extensions have been rather awkward to use. Would it be possible that they could get a refresh, including maybe being separate buttons side by side and slightly enlarged?

    Hi @rctneil,

Thanks for your feedback about that! I see what you mean about those options. In case you didn't already know, you can actually click anywhere in a field to copy that text, so you don't actually need to click the copy button to do that.

Also, there's actually a much easier way to reveal your passwords, which is to simply hold down the Option key on your keyboard (the passwords will be concealed again as soon as you release the Option key). Or if you want to always be able to see your passwords instead of the dots, go to the View menu and disable the option for Conceal Passwords.

Hopefully that helps! Please let us know if you need anything else. :)

Those are all good but I still feel the buttons should be separated and made clearer next to the fields. Thanks anyway.

I've always wanted to post the same. There's a lot of space, and typically only two options. It would be great to just present two buttons side by side (instead of the context menu, so that selection of one would be faster). I find the context menu clumsy.

^ As above. They don;t particularly need to be inside the text box as currently. Just two nicely spaced and padded buttons that are visible all the time. No context menus, no appear oh hover.

As they say, Keep It Simple Stupid (I don't mean the Stupid part!)

No problem, we appreciate the feedback! I can certainly let our developers know (although I can't make any promises). For now, I thought I'd mention the other tips in case it helped.

Thanks again for your thoughts on that! :)
