mac not syncing with android mobile app

1Password on my mac does not sync a new password for a website with the mobile app on my android phone.
How do I make this work?

    Hi @jbeelen,

    I think we're going to need a little more information.

    1. What version of OS X and 1Password for Mac are you running?
    2. What version of Android and 1Password for Android are you running?
    3. How are you currently syncing?
    4. If you create a new item on both copies of 1Password do either sync?

    Hopefully the answers to those questions will help us figure out what is going on.
