Clicking "+" within Favourites does NOT create new item

Probably a bug. - The same works, when clicking "+" within the "Categories" section.

    When I click the + while viewing Favorites on my iPad, I get a list of all records, not a list of categories from which to pick to begin a new record. I don't think this is a bug, though. Since designation of a record as a Favorite is something normally you do while editing the record, it doesn't really make sense to be allowed to create a new Favorite directly.

    If I tap on one of those records that are displayed when I touch +, it does turn that record Into a Favorite, which then shows in the displayed list. That makes sense to me.

    I'm not sure how these somewhat different meanings for + could be distinguished from one another.

    Anyway, there's a different perspective.

    Hi folks,

    Hawkmoth is correct -- this is working as intended. The "+" on the favorites screen is for adding an existing item to your favorites list, not for creating a new item. I agree that the UI does not do an excellent job of differentiating these, but like hawkmoth, I'm not entirely sure off hand how we could do that better. If you have any suggestions please let us know!
