Hi @pawpaw,
I'm sorry you're having some trouble with 1Password on Mavericks! Please let us know some more details so we can help solve this problem:
- What exact version of Mac OS X Mavericks are you running?
- Are you having trouble opening the main 1Password app, the 1Password extension in Safari, or both?
- If you can open the main 1Password app, go to the menu for 1Password > About 1Password. What version does it show there?
- Are you using the web store version or the Mac App Store version of 1Password?
- What version of Safari are you using?
- What version of the 1Password extension is installed in Safari?
- What happens when you click on the 1Password extension in Safari?
Once we know more about the problem and your setup, we'll have a better idea how to get it working again. Thanks!

Safari 8.0.3. Don't know what version 1password extension. when I click on 1password extension I get box that says 1password 4.3.0. checked enable box. Thanks for any help

Hi @pawpaw,
Try this and see if it helps.
- Drag the 1Password application from your
/Applications/
folder to the Trash. Please don't use an app cleaner. - Reboot your Mac.
- Download 1Password again from the same place you purchased it. So via Apple's App Store application if you're a MAS user and from our AgileBits Download page if you're an Agile Web Store (AWS) customer.
