Does 1Password for iOS have a DropBox option to store files?
I use 1Password on two iMacs, a Moto X, and a Nexus 7. The android version of 1Password lets you store the data files on a DropBox drive. But I have a Synology NAS, and am able to store the files on a cloud drive, which is shared by all of my devices and iMacs.
Does the iOS version of this same option, to select an external drive for data files?
My wife has an iPhone and iPad, and I'm considering setting up 1Password for her in a similar manner, with her own version of course.

@zBernie: The short answer to your question is, yes: 1Password for iOS can use Dropbox to sync your data. But it sounds like you might be referring to something else entirely, so I will elaborate -- just to make sure we are on the same page.
As far as setting up your own network drive to store your 1Password data, this is not something that we can support. In fact, iOS doesn't support network shares the way that OS X or Windows do; so using a cloud service (such as Dropbox) to store and sync your data are the closest to what you are describing. You can also use WiFi Sync between a single computer (using the latest version of 1Password for Mac or Windows) and multiple iOS devices (using 1Password 5 for iOS).
WiFi Sync has the benefit of not relying on 'cloud' connectivity; whereas Dropbox or iCloud Sync allow you to have you data kept up-to-date automatically as long as you have an internet connection. I hope this helps! :)

Thanks, that helps very much. If the iOS version works with Dropbox, it will probably work with a Synology cloud drive, like my android devices and iMacs. The cloud drive just appears as a normal folder to an application, so I don't think it will be an issue. If it is I can always configure the WiFi sync as you suggested.

@zBernie: You are most welcome! That could very well work for you. Obviously, this isn't something we can support directly, as it wasn't designed for this. But I will say that some enterprising 1Password users have used alternative sync solutions with some success (try saying that ten times fast!) Definitely check out the 1Password for Mac Folder Sync guide, as it may have some information relevant to your specific configuration.
The main concern will be data loss corruption if the volume goes offline while files are in use. Having a solid backup plan is important not only in general, but also especially while you experiment with the setup you described. And, as you said, you have WiFi Sync as a Plan B if you need it. Cheers! :)
