Some items in the main app are not displaying in the mini/browser extension
Hello,
Just a moment ago I selected the browser icon for 1password and then went to favorites and a login I know I had set to favorites was not present.
So I went and looked at the larger 1password file going thru the dock icon and checked the file out and it was set for the favorites list.
So I went back and checked but it was not there.
I then went back into the larger file via the dock icon and removed it from favorites and then restated the app and then reselected it for favorites and then restarted the app and it still is not showing up.
Is this list limited to a number of favorites?
Sincerely,
Damian

Hi Damian ( @damiank ),
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! This is a rather odd one, as there shouldn't be any limit on how many items can be stored as Favourites. Just so I can test here, I'd like a few more details from you, if you don't mind:
- What is the version number of 1Password that you're using? (This can be found in the 1Password > About 1Password menu)
- What is the version number of your operating system?
- How many Favourites do you currently have stored?
I'd also like you to do a quick test for me. Let's edit an item using the menu bar icon and see if those changes translate into the main app:
- Use ⌘⌥\ ( Command-Option- \ ) to open 1Password mini (or click the icon in the menu bar)
- View an existing item's details (any one will do) and click the 'Edit' option
- Add a clever note in the 'notes' field: "this is a test!" or "these are not the droids you are looking for!" for example
- Click save to confirm the changes
- Open the main app and find that special item
- Did the changes to your notes field transfer over?

Hi, Megan. I have the exact same problem. I am using 1PW v 4.4.3 (443000) on OS 10.9.5. I only have 4 favorites. The main 1PW app is fine, but the all the web browser plug-ins and the 1PW mini are missing 2 of the favorites (2 separate iTunes accounts).
I performed your test and the notes field did transfer from the 1PW mini to the main app. But if I edited one of the missing iTunes log-ins in the main app, it would not transfer to the browser plug-in nor to 1PW mini. Changing the log-ins favorite status in the main app did not help either. Of note, editing a log-in on the main app that also appears on 1PW mini and the browsers did transfer. What next? Could this have something to do with the fact that 1PW used to have a separate "Accounts" section where iTunes log-in info was stored? Any advice is gratefully accepted!

Hi @drdreds,
I apologize for the confusion here! I've got one more thing for you to check out, and it's probably something I should have clued into when @damiank made their original report:
- Open the 'missing' item in the main app and select 'Edit'
- Scroll to the bottom of the item's details and look at the 'display' option - is it set to 'never display in browser'?
- If so, change it to 'Always'
This should fix the issue, but please let me know if you're still seeing a discrepancy between the mini and the main app.
