Can I get version 4 for the Mac?

I do not have Yosemite and want to order version 4. Is this possible?

If you buy from the AgileBits web store, you can download version 4 from the AgileBits download page. Scroll to the bottom, where you'll find links to download legacy versions.

To license your copy, you would buy a license to version 5. The license file that you will receive as a result is identical for both 4 and 5, since the upgrade from 4 to 5 is free. You'll get link to buy a license inside the application itself. Remember there is a 30 day free trial, so you can see whether it's right for you before you buy.

One caution: If/when you move to Yosemite and 1Password 5, you will only be able to use iCloud for syncing if you buy your copy directly from the Mac App Store not from AgileBits. Getting version 4 from Apple isn;t straightforward, so if this is a concern for you, post back for further instructions. You will have to find a Mac that is running Yosemite as part of that process.

I have downloaded the app on my iPad and iPhone which are running version 8.1.3. Will version 4 for the desktop work with these and auto sync through Dropbox?

Yes, Dropbox syncing will work well.
